...and she's still here

I thought that after the day when we get presents and gifties, the fat chihuahua would be gone because that would be like a great gift to me.

But she is still here.  She is going to be "adopted" one day, and the lady says that I need to be "patient," because Cherry Pit is in the same place I was when I was waiting for a home at the Barn.  I am trying so hard to be a good foster brother.

Here is me taking Sour Cherry's bed.  It is just the right size for my bottom.

Like a good foster brother, I have to show her that what's hers is actually mine.  Even though you can't see my face, I am grinning.

  2. I'm so sorry you didn't get rid of the Cherry Pit for Christmas, but you are a VERY clever boy for making your big blocky body fit in that tiny chihuahua bed! Of COURSE you are grinning! I am grinning, too! Kisses, buddy, someday the lady will be all yours again.

  8. Fabulous! This reminds me of a cherished pair of pictures I have from the time our 15-lb beagle-terrier mix went to stay with a friend's 80-lb catahula. One is of a glowering Cajun with his butt barely squeezed into her bed, and the other is of little Roo, drinking from his water bowl, which she could have swum laps in.

  9. Awe Bounce, miss you and your big smushy face. At least you're able to fit in the bed (kind of) unlike Sioux who always seems to have one part of her body hanging out. (=
